Former Morning Musume member, singer Natsumi Abe, 26, caused a traffic accident on Saturday while driving in Tokyo’s Shibuya Ward. According to local police, Abe collided with a scooter when she was leaving a car park and was about to make a right turn. Abe was unhurt, but the scooter rider suffered minor injuries in the accident.

Natsumi Abe was a member of the popular Jpop group Morning Musume from 1997 until her graduation in 2004. She is currently a member of the Morning Musume Tanjo 10 Nen Kinentai project.
