Truly was formed in Seattle by songwriter Robert Roth, Mark Pickerel (formerly the drummer in Screaming Trees) and Hiro Yamamoto (formerly the bassist in Soundgarden). Their releases include the "Married In The Playground" EP, the critically-acclaimed "Fast Stories... From Kid Coma" and the poppier "Feeling You Up". Their music is often categorized as grunge, but their style of guitar solos and dynamic song structures sets them apart from the archetypal grunge band. Roth is now a solo artist.
