Contemode

contemode is a Japanese record label (sub-label of Yamaha Music Communications) started by Nakata Yasutaka in 2003. Nakata produces (or has produced) all artists on the label. He also collaborates in the design of the album jackets, the artists' fashion, and others. Until June 6th, 2008, every first Friday of the month, the contemode club event "contemode saloon" was held at Shinjuku OTO. Fashion shows were given as well as music performances by DJs and bands.

On June 6th, 2008 it was announced that day would be the final "contemode saloon" event, and a new event would be starting entitled "FLASH!!!" The event is now being held at Shibuya's Lounge NEO with DJ Jin as the main DJ.
