In 2008 Chasing Jones independently released their first EP “The Lie” to a sold out release party at the Starlite Room in Edmonton. In the fall of 2009 the band returned to the studio to record their second EP entitled “Stay Tonight” which was released in early 2010. Garnering great reviews and already showing a marked growth in song crafting, the EP showcases the bands pop sensibilities and mature storytelling.

Almost immediately, radio friendly cuts like “Anniversary” and “Amelia” were picked up by both mainstream and college radio stations across Canada. The band’s name and distinct sound became recognized on the local and national music scene. Riding the success of the EP, Chasing Jones embarked on their first cross Canada tour culminating in a showcase at Canadian Music Week. Not ones to rest on their laurels, Chasing Jones have already begun work on their third studio effort to be recorded in late 2011.

This time the band will be setting up shop in Los Angeles to provide fans with a full length album that builds on the virtues of the first two EP’s. The first pieces of the group came together in 2007 with brothers Nick and Adam Di Lullo collaborating for the first time. With a solid foundation they were able to convince LA based drummer Blair Brown to return home and join the band. The puzzle was soon complete when Grant MacEwan music graduate Dwayne Ulliac joined as the new bassist. Recently Chasing Jones has added multi talented musician Dani Kobek to reinforce the lineup.
