BD was formed in 2003 when the artist in question was tired of one of his favourite styles then turning into mindless club music. The artist felt Dark-elektro has become dumbed-down by black-metal and anthem-trance influences, turning dark-elektro into nothing but "stompy" cheesey dance music for scenesters, a type of person the artist utterly abhored and despised. Instead the artist attempted to recreate the genre in his own modern form...

BD was formed in 2003 when the artist in question was tired of one of his favourite styles then turning into mindless club music. The artist felt Dark-elektro has become dumbed-down by black-metal and anthem-trance influences, turning dark-elektro into nothing but "stompy" cheesey dance music for scenesters, a type of person the artist utterly abhored and despised. Instead the artist attempted to recreate the genre in his own modern form, taking twisted psytrance influences from acts like Highko, Kindzadza and Aural Environmentalist, as well as metal influences from bands such as Will Haven, Deftones, Earthtone9 and Meshuggah. The artist decided to dump the 4/4 time sigs and use polyrythmic beats as they felt it added a new fresh sound to the genre.

In 2005 they released their first album "Tides Of Time". The result wasnt exactly what the artist wanted, and production was quite weak in places but they came back in 2008 with the "soul cavalry EP", showing the diversity and freshness of the sound. In 2009 the artist is said to release a new album called "Outside Existence". The music is obviously not aimed at the atypical club "rivethead", and nor apparently does the artist like nor want such people listening to their music - instead BD did Psytrance raves and played with hardcore metal bands in their hometown.
