Started in the summer of 2008, as a result of a number of coincidences: firstly, the band worked together in the Army/Navy Store (2660 Agricola Str. Halifax, NS); secondly a number of future-members had their rears imploded at a show on April 20th of that year (Iron Bitchface was the imploding force), which was organized by one of the members; and lastly, all members play inustrments and partake in other activities. Hence BS was born. In the following months, some members have gone temporarily South, others trudged on and invited various guests to play with them.

Banned after just one show from the main bar in town (coincidentally, the same bar that hosted the aforementioned 4-20 show), the band continues to plow on, seeking out unorthodox venues in their home-town, including but not limited to living rooms, campus bars, and local alternative-lifestyle landmarks.
