Bleeding Roses

BLEEDING ROSES" started it's performances in summer of 1994 as SEIROU's solowork. He was a central figure of "JUDITH", a real GOTHIC band in JAPAN. SEIROU did the first gig at Musashino Art University's campus under the name of "BLEEDING ROSES" in November of the same year. The content of the stage was very unique. Dancers of "SASARAHOUSARA" (female members of "DAIRAKUDAKAN") performed along the BGM, recorded tapes and SEIROU's voices.

SEIROU did the first gig at Musashino Art University's campus under the name of "BLEEDING ROSES" in November of the same year. The content of the stage was very unique.

Dancers of "SASARAHOUSARA" (female members of "DAIRAKUDAKAN") performed along the BGM, recorded tapes and SEIROU's voices. In 1995, HIDEYUKI SUNAGA(guitar), TAKAHIRO HASHIMOTO(bass) and KUDO(keyboard) joined "BLEEDING ROSES" and SEIROU's real GOTHIC band was born. First, the band recorded the sound tracks performed by the dancers mentioned above. In March, the band released the first cassette album "IT IS A SONG OF HERETIC THAT ECHOES IN MY HEART". "BLEEDING ROSES" kept doing collaborations mixed the band's sound and dance performances In 1996, KUDO left the band because of his conduct disorder.

SEIROU continued to be on the stages emphathizing his characteristic theatrical performances till the day he released the second cassette album"PRAYER FOR SATAN" in summer. Also in autumn, he released the third cassette album"PSYCHIC HUNTING" recorded the sound tracks used in exhibition by many designers. Before releasing, the third album was planned as SEIROU's solo piece. I really wanna create my own pure performances.

Far away from Japanese music scenes and medias, I wanna express my world. If I'm a lone wolf, if the audience leaves me completelyl, I'm OK. A kind of hunger, a kind of drive, give me power. I killed "JUDITH" and had my real child "BLEEDING ROSES" at last." - SEIROU "BLEEDING ROSES" isolated from other bands really as SEIROU talked about himself and his band, but the truth was what he expressed by his performances.

I n 1997, the most radical and important change attacked "BLEEDING ROSES". "My creation's been built for something ideal till I played "PRAYER FOR SATAN". But my attitude changed, I'm sure, when I created "PSYCHIC HUNTING". I started to face myself, the inside of my spirit.

I know why I felt the biggest conflict I've ever had, you know?"-SEIROU As a resullt, SEIROU had a nervous breakdown. He seriously thought about quitting all activities of "BLEEDING ROSES". In February in 1998, SEIROU had the last gig of "BLEEDING ROSES" and vanished away from the stages. Several months later, he began to record the last album in autumn.

SUNAGA left him. SEIROU never gave up by corporation from two contemporary guitarists. Repeating suspensions so many times, SEIROU accomplished recording in May of 2000, with some kind of disappointment in his heart. At last in June, he released the CD-R first album " DISAPPEARANCE".

His final gig was held also in the public. "I can't help it. So many things appear in my brain and soul. Everything was all over, I felt.

And at the same time I started doubting if I made it over or not. Hey, Common, you really did the best? I ask me, I can't stop. With my complexed feelings in myself for several months, I started to decide, I'm not sure, I've gotta go on. Where am I gonna go? The next band is "BLEEDING ROSES"? I have no idea what's waiting for me.
