Blamstrain is a musician/producer currently hailing from Helsinki, Finland. Behind it is one Juho Hietala (born 1985), releasing on multiple labels such as Merck (US), Suburb (UK) and Sending Orbs (NL). The project was conceived in 2000 with the debut CD, "Ensi" released early 2003 after some MP3 releases on the internet. The follow-up album, "Disfold" was released in 2006 on Sending Orbs.
