His influences include: the Beatles, John Lennon, Radiohead, the Doors, The Books, Pink Floyd, Tom Waits, Rick James, Bill Withers, Nick Drake, The Who, The Kinks, and various underground musicians. He uses any odd or found sounds and samples, meshes acoustic and electronic instruments, enjoys an unorthodox playing and writing style, collaborates with any like-minded musician, and promotes the DIY ethic.
