Elisabeth Szwarc got the idea for BlackNinfea in summer 2005. She felt urgent to get free of static music making her own kind of music instead. Being one of those lyric writers, with subtle, emotional mingling of words. her inner being urged her to write down words to express her feelings since she was 12. the pure word as it is would not be enough for her. she learned playing the mandolin and recorder, then taught violin and erhu by herself. music is part of her heart. born in jan. 4th 1982, she started with singing very early, in the age of 4.

being part of all different kinds of choirs, jazz and irish folk bands - and training of course. but there was no way to develop herself. now she found a way: BlackNinfea (ninfea, i.e. italian "waterlily") - some kind of maybe dark ambient, maybe kittenish music...
