BLACK LEATHER JESUS was formed in 1990 by Richard Ramirez. Over the years, Black Leather Jesus has released many vinyl, cd, cd-r, cassette products. Founder, Richard Ramirez, also runs the experimental-noise label, Deadline Recordings. He runs the label with his boyfriend, Jovan Hernandez(ze'r0-sum/voidmate). Ramirez is also involved with several side projects, including: Werewolf Jerusalem, Priest in Shit, S-21, Crash at Every Speed, Battery Suspects, Anal Drill, Nervous Crowd, Are the Volcanoes Still Active?, Anatomy of a Blackout, & others.
