Bethany Joy Lenz (now Galeotti) was born in Hollywood, Florida (USA). She now resides in Vancouver, Washington. Her current project,the CW/WB hit "One Tree Hill", is filmed in Wilmington, North Carolina. Lenz plays Haley James Scott, wife to Nathan (James Lafferty) and best friend to Lucas (Chad Michael Murray). Prior to One Tree Hill, Galeotti spent most of her acting career on the stage. She has called Musical theater her passion, and has performed in various productions of "Annie", "The Wizard of Oz", "Gypsy", "Cinderella", etc...

She has called Musical theater her passion, and has performed in various productions of "Annie", "The Wizard of Oz", "Gypsy", "Cinderella", etc... In 2002 Lenz released her first album (Preincarnate) featuring eight original tracks, all performed and written by Lenz. This album is no longer available for purchase and distribution. Come On Home is the second studio album released by Bethany Joy Lenz that features five tracks performed by Lenz. Included on Lenz's second studio album is a cover titled "Leaving Town Alive" originally performed and written by Pancho's Lament (the alter-ego of New York based songwriter/producer Jeff Cohen).

The four remaining songs included in this album are written by Lenz. Lenz's song "If You're Missing (Come on Home)" is listed as a bonus track. This album is also no longer available for purchase and distribution. Her 3rd album,The Starter Kit, was never released because she got dropped by her label. After moving from Texas to New York, Galeotti portrayed Michelle Bauer Santos on CBS's "The Guiding Light".

When her two year contract ended there, she left New York and moved to Los Angeles and guest starred on shows like "Charmed", "Felicity", and "The Guardian." Galeotti also appeared in Los Angeles stage productions of "The Outsiders" and "Happy Days". Galeotti is also an accomplished singer. In the 2005 season of OTH Bethany joined, Tyler Hilton, Gavin DeGraw and the Wreckers on the 25-city "One Tree Hill" Tour. Turning in to a big year Galeotti signed a recording contract with Sony/Epic Records. Her original music has been inspired mostly by artists such as Sheryl Crow, James Taylor, Fiona Apple and Billy Joel.

Her expected album release never came, and instead, Galeotti joined forces with other bands. Enation's song "Feel This" became a hit after she sang it on OTH.
