Bestial Mouths began in 2009 in Los Angeles, CA. Drawing from a large base of influences including early Industrial, Synthpunk and the British Gothic and American Deathrock music of the late 70’s and early 80’s, founders Lynette Cerezo and Christopher Myrick sought to explore new imagery in creating an original aesthetic that avoided some of the cliches typically prevalent in “dark” music. Beginning with a self released CD-R (STABLE VICES), they went on to contribute two tracks to a split 7 inch with Blessure Grave (Silencio/Family Time Records) and later released their debut full length LP...

Bestial Mouths began in 2009 in Los Angeles, CA. Drawing from a large base of influences including early Industrial, Synthpunk and the British Gothic and American Deathrock music of the late 70’s and early 80’s, founders Lynette Cerezo and Christopher Myrick sought to explore new imagery in creating an original aesthetic that avoided some of the cliches typically prevalent in “dark” music. Having included a number of like-minded musicians (Ebrahim Saleh, Douglas Halbert of Birth!), the band currently consists of Gustavo Aldana (synthesizer and programming) and Jessica Reuter (drums) in addition to Cerezo (vocals) and Myrick (synthesizer).

They are currently working on several recordings for upcoming releases while planning a debut tour of Europe, a performance at SXSW and a second tour of the United States East Coast in 2012.
