Berlinska dróha is a post punk / folk duet from Berlin, established in 2007. The members, both of Sorbian origin, are Uta Schwede (piano/vocals) und Paul Geigerzähler (violin/vocals). The band’s name means as much as “Berlin street“.
Their peculiar mixture including semi – acoustical (post) punk, folk, Sorbian traditional songs and sarcastic, provocative and political lyrics enfolds best performed live; their popularity as well as their operational area steadily grows. In 2009, berlinska dróha recorded and released their debut EP, “zrudny koncak”.
