With his roots in India beat creator Beau Love hails from Amsterdam. If you´d leave it up to him he´d only need one word to describe his sound; dope! As an English student he found himself traveling back and forth between Amsterdam and his hometown when he eventually gave up the student life to pursuit a career in music and the things he truly loves. In the mean time a younger Beau Love, who then referred to himself as Beau Mega, an aspiring MC who decided to try his hand at making beats realized that the sound of his Amiga 500 wasn´t quite up to par with the standards he had...

With his roots in India beat creator Beau Love hails from Amsterdam. If you´d leave it up to him he´d only need one word to describe his sound; dope! As an English student he found himself traveling back and forth between Amsterdam and his hometown when he eventually gave up the student life to pursuit a career in music and the things he truly loves. In the mean time a younger Beau Love, who then referred to himself as Beau Mega, an aspiring MC who decided to try his hand at making beats realized that the sound of his Amiga 500 wasn´t quite up to par with the standards he had, at that point he discovered the MPC 2000. His keen ear for production developed over the years as he permanently moved to Amsterdam in 2000.

Creating what some people describe as an industrial sound but with enough room for that touch of soul to keep the sound of his craft warm. To weigh his beats up against other producers would do too much injustice to the sound Beau creates. He´ll sample anything that his ear recognizes as a potential beat which makes his inspiration sources limitless. Beau´s production efforts prove that he is one of those musical mavericks who lead the way for the rest. His unique sound has brought him collaborations with acclaimed mc´s Kool Keith, Blaxtar and MC Fit while the future will expose him to more collaborations overseas and much more. He´s more than happy that the path he walked has brought him to this debut EP Untitled, the first of a promising Appletree Beat Series that will be out on Appletree Records, which brings the best of Beau Love on vinyl and cd.
