Beatplanet

Beatplanet is a retro-pop band formed in Berlin, GER in 2003. According to the members, their style was influenced by artists like Manfred Krug, Nancy Sinatra and the Theo Schumann-Combo. Singer and guitarist Sven "Remmidemmi" Rathke has published a first solo album in 2008. For this purpose he has used the pseudonym Sven van Thom. Three of Beatplanet's members used to form the trio Sofaplanet which in Germany had a top ten hit with the song Liebficken in 2001.
