Bears in the Woods

Bears in the Woods is the solo project of experimental artist Taylor Harvey, vocalist and mulch-instrumentalist of Tallahassee, FL metal duo Snake Jaw. Harvey's solo material is a mix of instrumental metal and poorly made "techno". Harvey debuted with the simultaneous release of two EPs , entitled "Metal Sucks" and "Techno Sucks". Each EP contains songs in their titular genres. In September of 2011 Harvey wrote, recorded, and released a third EP, titled "Raub". This eight track release featured an intriguing mix of classical guitar and noisy drone.
