Bear Mountain Picnic was formed in the spring of 2004 by Lucas Hollow and Reagan Sova in the wake of the Bipolar Bears. Joel Schrauben joined shortly afterwards. Approximately ten different drummers have played with BMP, including Joshua Barton (of Fields of Industry) and Kevin Lang (of Invader). BMP disbanded in the Fall of 2007, playing their last show on September 15th. They released several E.Ps, which are: Since 1835 (2004, self-released)
Hortisubculture (2005, self-released)
