Founding Members James Kline & Mariusz Radwanski have combined their knowledge of classical, baroque, renaissance, and folk styles in pursuit of a common vision James plays an 11-string arch guitar which he has designed based on ideas of arch guitar innovator Peter Blanchette. The instrument is a combination of lutes and guitars from 16th thru the 18th centuries Mariusz plays a nyckelharpa, an instrument dating back to the 14th century and still played as folk instrument in Sweden. It is played with a violin-like bow and a set of keys which are pressed to change the pitch.
