Bambu, originally from the Watts community of Los Angeles, released his debut album, Self Untitled, in 2002, as well as the ".38 revolver mixtape" in 2005. He released his second album, i scream bars for the children, on the 15th anniversary of the Los Angeles Riots on April 29th, 2007.
