Baložu Pilni Pagalmi (Yards Full of Pigeons) is indie/rock band formed in Riga, Latvia. They definitely are one of the most melodic bands in Latvia at the moment. All their songs are more or less romantic and melodic love songs. The band was formed in 1994. Its primary founder was Māris Šverns, who plays guitar and sings. The bass was played by Jourelys and the drummer was Uldis Gedra. The band was a very active participant in all concerts of the time, and soon released their first album – “Cik Dīvaini" ("How Curiously").

“Baložu Pilni Pagalmi” play very melodic rock, practically only on the theme of love. Now “Baložu Pilni Pagalmi” is one of the most active bands in Latvia with an impressive discography. They have released eight albums – "Cik dīvaini" (“How Curiously”; 1994), "Skaties!" (“Watch!”; 1995), "Esi ar mani" (“Be With Me”; 1996), "Vēstules" (“Letters”; 1998), "Žabete baro baložus" (“Zabete Feeds Pigeons”; 1999), "Jauni iespaidi" (“New Impressions”; 2001), "Runā ar mani" (“Talk To Me”; 2004) and "Esi sveiks" ("Howdy"; 2007). All albums except "Runā ar mani" have been released on Tornis Rec.
