Formed in 2006 by Rob Lowe and Michael Muller, members also include Aisha Burns (violin), Kendall Clark (percussion), Dylan Rieck (cello), and Travis Chapman (double bass). The sound of Balmorhea is hard to pin-point but the obvious influences span a range of genres from classical to modern rock.  The band has 4 studio albums, 1 live release and 2 eps as well as many remixes from various artists.
