Balloon Chase Team
Balloon Chase Team
From the remnants of the Boston band Twig, the band Orans (later to become Balloon Chase Team) was formed in 1996. Twig guitarist Julie Kantner, and Twig drummer Ramona Herboldsheimer were joined by Jerry Kyn (Toe Tag, 13 Ghosts) on guitar. Later Keith Arcari (Toe Tag) was recruited on bass, and the band lasted long enough to record a few songs and play a few gigs in the New England area, including their final performance at the first Terrastock festival in Providence. As Orans they released a 3 song single for Harriet Records featuring the songs, "Windfall", "Paper", and "Wipers".
