Bahaish Kapoor (Born: March 23rd, 1988) was born and brought up in Mumbai, India. During his teenage years, he used the art of the written word to express himself in order to battle thoughts of depression. The words that flowed out took the shape of a book of poems, titled "Lucifer". The book was published by the Governer of Karnataka, T. N. Chaturvedi on the 21st of December, 2005 in Bangalore.

Fascinated by movies and the process of filmmaking, Bahaish Kapoor started writing and directing short films using various digital and cell phone cameras. He went on to win several accolades and awards as a filmmaker. During this time, he also learnt the art of cinematography, editing, sound design and colour grading. His hobbies that include photography and Music Composition contribute to his work as a Filmmaker. Bahaish Kapoor, now, lives in Mumbai where he continues to make movies and music.
