This BAD ANIMAL is from the sandy shores Florida. They consist of songwriter Shawn Gallagher, a poorly working laptop, & many low-battery electronic instruments. Their sound is perhaps best described as lo-fi retro/electropop in the Swedish vein. Think Sally Shapiro, Lo-Fi-FNK, etc. This BAD ANIMAL hooks his prey with catchy Casio beats and rhythms, and kills them slowly with lyrics of heartbeats and heartbreaks. He is formerly a member of world famous bands Sweet Pickles and Plastic Mastery. Released first album "The Hunted" on Piussant/Soft Abuse Records in 2006.
