Grown up from musical movement of students, they professionalized their music career in 1998 with a mark is a musical night '‘Khoảnh khắc giao thời (The transitional moment)’ with many popular singer, band in Việt Nam. In 2000, the band changed its name to "Bức Tường". The band split in October - 2006 due to family reasons.

The band split in October - 2006 due to family reasons. During the first period, main genre of Bức Tường are Hard Rock and Power Metal. Their creations have been favorited because of the rich meaning and humanities. In early 2010, Bức Tường re-formed and worked for their 4th album named "Ngày Khác". This album was released on 15 October 2010, includes 12 songs written by the band's vocalist Trần Lập. This is the very first album of Bức Tường in their new "era" of Modern Rock. 2.

Hall of Fame "Rock Xuyên Màn Đêm", "Đường Đến Ngày Vinh Quang", "Khám Phá" is a thirst for knowledge, is the effort to overcome difficulties and to overcome themselves to go to succeed. "Đôi bàn tay" talks about saving each other in the community. "Niềm Tin Cho Cát Bụi", "Người mộng du", "Đêm", "Cô Gái Mù" are the songs for the unlucky fate of society. Bức Tường also have some ballad songs, like "Bông Hồng Thủy Tinh", "Mắt Đen". Besides, Bức Tường are known when they brought Vietnamese folk music into the rock. Typical is "Bài Ca Sông Hồng" using the sound of 'đàn tính' and duh by Northern Delta sonority, "Ra Khơi" is a successful cover song of Southern folk song "Lý Kéo Chài" Some other songs were written towards epic storyline based on folk, like "Người Đàn Bà Hóa Đá" (based on history of Tô Thị Lady), "Chuyện tình của thủy thần" (Sơn Tinh and Thủy Tinh story), "Dấu Vết Nghiệt Ngã" (writes about An Dương Vương building Cổ Loa citadel) 3.
