Hailing straight out of Upstate New York (518), NYC residing emcee AWAR has been a force in the hip-hop world since 2005, with his memorable certified underground classic "Glory Days." The results of the slow burn was AWAR tearing a hole through the majority of the US states with nationwide tours and opening for National headliners in his own region. AWAR went on to release a 3 song single accompanied with videos for his and iCON the Mic King's "Headphone Classics" project. In 2011, AWAR picked up stream, dropping DJBooth.

In 2011, AWAR picked up stream, dropping DJBooth.net sponsored "Things Of That Nature EP" with production by Vanderslice, Frank Dukes, M-Phazes and Deejay Tone. AWAR followed up on the momentum by dropping a string of buzz-worthy singles off his "Nature Of The Beast" street album, which featured a stellar core of producers in Alchemist, Sid Roams, Vanderslice, Frank Dukes, M-Phazes and Ayatollah.
AWAR's "Standout" single, which features Slaughterhouse member Joe Budden B/w "Orange Boxcutter and Nuclear spent 16 weeks on the college radio/grassroots buzz charts and peaked at #3. His videos and singles were featured across the internet on prominent hip-hop sites such as 2Dopeboyz, Nahright, FreeOnSmash, HiphopDX, DJBooth, XXL and many more. The strength of the music and visuals AWAR has been releasing caught XXL Magazine eyes and ears and in September 2011, he was featured in "The Break" section. In November 2011 AWAR was featured in the print version of XXL Magazine, with praise from top industry executives.
In summer 2012 AWAR will release his most exciting project to date, in his official full length album, AWAR "The Laws of Nature". With a lineup of producers including Alchemist, Nottz, Jake One, Sid Roams, Vanderslice, M-Phazes and Sebb, and guests including Evidence, MURS, Stat Quo, and more, this record is sure to make a worldwide impact.
