Asynje

Asynje is a co-operation between Nanna Barslev and Søren Hammerlund. It is a rahter new project, but with ideas that have been around for a long time. Both Nanna and Søren has a background as musicians in the medieval, viking and folk genre. Nanna is the lead singer in Gny, and Søren plays the hurdy gurdy and mandola in Virelai and Valravn. They have both been flirting with rock and the electronic musical genre. The nature, Edda poems, magic formulas, folk songs/ballads are all sources and inspiration to texts and music.
