Ass bandit started out in february 2005, in Clermont-Ferrand "rock city" (France). At the begining they were 3 : Chacha (vocals), Reno (guitar) and Remi (drums). Math joined the band just before the tour in Holland. Then, Ju (2nd gutarist) arrived, and soon after, Yogi replaced Remi on drums to create the final line up. These bastards have a strong taste for the scandinavian rock scene (the Hellacopters, the Hives, Refused and International (Noise) Conspiracy, Turbonegro, the Peepshows...), but they also like how the 60's music sounded (garage, garage soul.

These bastards have a strong taste for the scandinavian rock scene (the Hellacopters, the Hives, Refused and International (Noise) Conspiracy, Turbonegro, the Peepshows...), but they also like how the 60's music sounded (garage, garage soul...). In fact Ass Bandit’s a sort of mix made of all rock'n'roll styles and that's what makes them sound so special. The best way to collect the band's energy is to see them on stage, where they turned completely wild. So to all the motherfuckers who want some real action, just come and judge by yourself.
This experience of the stage was acquired through the several shows they performed through France and Europe. They played at the side of bands like Lords of Altamont, Turbo Ac's, the Suppositorz, the Elderberries and many more. In august 2005, the band recorded a demo entitled "Burning Garage" that was well appreciated : 7 titles of pure energy that definitely showed them the shape of the future songs. And this year 2007, they’re preparing a 12-song’s album.
