As Autumn Calls

As Autumn Calls is a melodic death doom metal band that was formed in Sudbury, Ontario, Canada in 2005. After 3 years of writing together the band recorded their first full length album titled 'An Autumn Departure'. The album contained 10 tracks of depressing death doom but was never released. In the spring of 2009, As Autumn Calls began writing and recording a three song EP titled 'Emotionless'. 'Emotionless' saw the band move towards a darker, bleaker sound. The EP was recorded and mixed by As Autumn Calls and mastered by Sardonic Moon Studio in Sudbury, ON.

The EP was recorded and mixed by As Autumn Calls and mastered by Sardonic Moon Studio in Sudbury, ON. The album was self-released in December 2009 as a professional CD-R. During the spring of 2010, the band signed with Naturmacht Productions to release a full length album for 2011. In the summer of 2010 the band welcomed drummer Darren (Finnr's Cane, Wolven Ancestry) to the line-up. During this time the band also re-recorded 'An Autumn Departure' with the intentions of releasing a limited edition cassette.

Though there is no official release date for the cassette, the album will be released on CD in May 2011 through Naturmacht Productions. The band is currently working on a full length album titled 'Cold, Black & Everlasting'. No release date set.
