ARPAY is a Quechua word that means effort, success, or reaching the summit. This name identifies this ensemble of Andean and Latin American musicians. Arpay's vision is to share its music with the world. This mission has taken Arpay to the United States, Germany, Belgium, and Latin America. Cesar, Fernando and Jose Reyes, and Constancio Tarqui founded Arpay on April 4, 1984 in Peru. Raul Valle and Ismael Barboza later joined them.
