Cesar, Fernando and Jose Reyes, and Constancio Tarqui founded Arpay on April 4, 1984 in Peru. Raul Valle and Ismael Barboza later joined them. ARPAY has integrated to its music the feelings and way-of-life of the Andean people by transforming their traditional expression of defeat, frustration, and resentment, into an extraordinary liberation song of faith, hope and love. ARPAY sings about life and through music, invites us to fullness of life. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License and may also be available under the GNU FDL..
