Herman George van Loenhout (Eindhoven, 10 april 1946) better known as Armand, is a Dutch Protest Singer, often called "The Dutch Bob Dylan" His hit "Ben ik te min", released in 1967, is a nederbiet classic Armand released his first single in 1965 and scored several hits in the '60's. His lyrics are critical towards the Dutch society and two out of three singles he released were banned from the Dutch radio. In 1990 Armand decides he will never release a record again on a major record label, because no one gives him absolute freedom in his choice of music and lyrics.
