Anup Ghosal

Anup Ghoshal (born 1949), is a singer in Hindi films and other vernacular Indian films, especially Bengali language films. Ghoshal was born to Amulya Chandra (father) and Labanya Ghoshal (mother). His musical training began at an early age from his mother. He graduated from Asutosh College of the prestigious University of Calcutta in Kolkata, and subsequently obtained a doctoral degree from Rabindra Bharati University.
