Antibubbles

Antibubbles is the fuzzy, synth-laden power pop outlet of Durham, NC musician Dave Yarwood. Originally formed in 2008 by Yarwood and Matt LaVallee as a side project of Raleigh hardcore punk band Devour, the band attacked the genre from a decidedly punk angle, taking the sweet, passionate poppiness of The Beatles and Weezer and amplifying the intensity with woolly waves of distorted guitars, heavy, blown-out bass, bitterly distraught vocals and lovely, melodic synth lines. Antibubbles have gone through numerous lineups and to date have released one LP, a 7" single and a 4-song CD EP.
