Anodes was formed when guitarist Dennis Outten and Mike Rogers met at college studying Fine Art. Their interest in music and art saw them spending lots of time collaborating on numerous artistic projects, including a musical venture. After practicing several times Mike took up the bass and they sought long time friend Chris Carr to add the percussion. They enlisted Krystian Hudson's dynamic vocals to the band, before finally Tim Hawkins took up the second guitar position and the setup was complete.
Anodes are a band that combine heavy rock sensibility with groove.
Complex drums overlap the jaunty riffs of rhythm and lead guitar, whilst the bass skirts about the scales melodically. Krystian's powerful lyrics bestow messages of politics, humanity, society and conformity, whilst retaining a very honest approach to singing.
