Anet

Annette Ducharme aka Anet was born in Windsor, Ontario. She was 1 of 13 children. Her father, a musician and healer with an incredible tenor voice, led her on the path of discovering her own voice as a musician. She left home at a very early age, traveled the world and eventually found her way to the west coast, attracted by the sea and mountains. Anet has been a successful performer and writer since she was on her own and continues to grow as a performer, actor and composer. There is always more to learn.

She left home at a very early age, traveled the world and eventually found her way to the west coast, attracted by the sea and mountains. Anet has been a successful performer and writer since she was on her own and continues to grow as a performer, actor and composer. There is always more to learn. She is in the throes of writing a new cd for 2004/2005 along with scoring 2 upcoming films and writing songs for various artists as well as major ad agencies in New York and LA, and being cast in acting and voiceover roles for upcoming TV series, films and animation series. Anet is a highly successful songwriter who has released cd’s independently and as an artist signed to EMI and has also licenced cd’s throughout the world with SONY, TB/BMG, FUEL,PAGE/BORDER.

She has recently toured with TOM COCHRANE, opening for him as well as singing backups as part of a US tour. Along with band performances ANET has been on stages as a solo artist in various university, concert and club venues. ANET’s last release is with TB RECORDS/BMG in the UK in Europe and SEXTANT/EMI in Canada. A UK tour is in the works.
