There are, at least, five artists known as Ampersand: 1) A German noise rock / wertkonservativer herrenrock trio. 2) A San Francisco pop quartet. 3) A pseudonym of Matthew Sandstedt. 4) A German electro house DJ. 5) A pseudonym of Matt Hainsby (Fujiya & Miyagi founder). 1) A Cologne, Germany trio, which released albums: "Macro" (2001) & "Boredom and Identity" (2004) - before singer / guitarist Bartz was replaced by singer / producer Hannes Jäckl (formerly with "Sans Secours").
