American Blackbelt Academy

Born in the bowels of Texas, American Blackbelt Academy began in 2003 as an escape from the constant barrage of musical sameness present in todays music scenes across the country. A.B.A. is a 3-piece ensemble that sounds more like a 5-piece band. Each member performs double-, sometimes triple- duty in the arrangements, creating rhythms and sounds with laptops, synthesizers, samplers, theremin, bass, drums, guitar, and an arsenal of effects pedals and processors.
