Formed by Iggy Faus and joined by indie veterans Matt Brown (Trespassers William), Coulter Leslie (Coulter), William Hallauer and Erik Blood (The Turn-Ons), the band’s jangle-y rock is upbeat, textured, and unpretentious.

Produced by Erik Blood, “It’s Up To You” is a collection of thirteen distinct, melodic, and carefully crafted guitar driven songs distinguished by their orchestral flourishes, swooping guitar lines and shades of shoegaze. Called “a masterpiece of britpop gems” by Seattle High Sounds Magazine, Altspeak released “It’s Up To You” on the Internet on July 2nd, 2008 as a free legal download.
