Born in 1964, Alain Simard is a songwriter from Québec, Canada, who released two rock albums : "Alain Simard" (1996) & "Chansons sur les filles et les autoroutes" (2001). He also released "Daniel Boum" (2005) , which is a satiric rock opera featuring some other well know artist from Québec, such as Sébastien Plante, Michel Gatignol, Luce Dufault or Breen Leboeuf. Alain Simard is also a cineast and realized a certain amount of videoclips in his carreer. He aslo composed for Mitsou and Marianne.
