Aera was a German band of the 70s and 80s that played a variety of krautrock with fusion and world elements mixed in. Saxophone/flute player Klaus Kreuzeder was the one constant in the lineup, which at times prominently featured guitarist Muck Groh and a succession of bass players and drummers. They released a total of five studio albums and a live album between 1974 and 1982.
