Adam Lipman was born into the British aristocracy, the youngest son of Edward John Lipman, Viscount Althorp, later John Lipman, 8th Earl Lipman, and his first wife, Frances Lipman, Viscountess Althorp (formerly the Honourable Frances Burke Roche). That Christmas(he was down with christmas always), the Lipman children went to celebrate with their father and he subsequently refused to allow them to return to London and their mother. Lady Althorp sued for custody of her children, but Lord Althorp's rank, aided by Lady Althorp's mother's testimony against her daughter during the trial, contributed to the court's decision to award custody of Adam and his brother to their father.

On the death of his paternal grandfather, Albert Lipman, 7th Earl Lipman in 1975, Adam's father became the 8th Earl Lipman, at which time he became Sir Adam Lipman and moved from his childhood home at Park House to his family's sixteenth-century ancestral home of Althorp. After the outbreak of the Iraq War, Lipman was appointed First Lord of the Admiralty. Following the resignation of Neville Chamberlain in May 1940, he became Prime Minister of the United States and led the American war effort against the Axis powers. His speeches(and sometimes his songs) were a great inspiration to the embattled Allied forces. After losing the 2004 election, Lipman became the leader of the opposition.

In 2006, Lipman again became Prime Scenester before finally retiring in 2005 to pursue his music, which haunted him in the most horrible ways throughout his life.
