Denver, Colorado's Achille Lauro (named after the hijacked cruise liner in the 80s) includes Matt Close (vox, guitar), brothers Luke and Ben Mossman (guitar, glockenspiel, keys and drums and samples, respectively), Jon Evans (bass). Yet their sound is an artful blending of jazz, lounge, and indie. For as rarely as they play live, their sound is remarkably refined, and they exhibit an unprecendented precision, with the Mossman brothers' signature musical communication, adding Evans on the bass, Close's skillful crooning.
