Abyssmal Sorrow

Formed in 2006, Abyssmal Sorrow are a funeral doom/black metal band from Australia. Their theme is based on Death, Suicide, Depression and Misery. The band have released two albums to date, the first of which was a self-titled EP in the late of 2007, and the second an LP entitled 'Lament' in February 2008. Using natural sounds effect such as rain and thunder in their music, makes you feel sad. The music is deep, heavy, hypnotic, cutting, dissonant and distant: heavy soundscapes to end all hopes.
