Aaron Childree is a 23-year-old pop singer/songwriter whose music combines thought-provoking lyrics and a hopeful message with memorable pop melodies and an infectious beat. Aaron’s debut album “So Much More To Say” is now available on iTunes, Amazon MP3 and all other major digital distributors. The first single from Aaron’s debut album, “Better Than Walking Away” was chosen as a finalist in the 2010 Song of the Year songwriting competition and the 2011 Next Movie Classic song contest.

The first single from Aaron’s debut album, “Better Than Walking Away” was chosen as a finalist in the 2010 Song of the Year songwriting competition and the 2011 Next Movie Classic song contest. Aaron has recently been featured in The Sandspur, chART Magazine, Central Florida Top 5, Creative Spotlights, Orlando Local Music Examiner, and as a musical guest on Orlando LIVE. Several tracks from his debut album have also been receiving airplay on various local and Internet radio stations including WPRK in Orlando, Upstream Radio in Los Angeles, and CACH Radio in Vancouver.
Currently based in Atlanta, Georgia, Aaron has built up a large following by performing shows and open mics around Atlanta as well as on-campus events at Rollins College and other shows in the nearby Orlando area.
He graduated from Rollins in May 2011 with a degree in Music and a minor in Creative Writing. Aaron and his band have played at a number of well-known venues including Eddie’s Attic and Smith’s Olde Bar in Atlanta and The Social in Orlando. In the fall of 2011 Aaron will be touring the Southeast US. Aaron also has 6 years of experience playing in praise bands and leading worship. He has been employed as a worship leader at First United Methodist Church of Winter Park and has also lead worship at Smyrna First United Methodist Church and All Saints Anglican Church. Aaron’s music is a combination of his passion for songwriting, his classical training, and his everyday experiences.
