Aaron Ackerson

Compared by Chicago Sun-Times rock critic Jim DeRogatis to the likes of Beck and Frank Zappa, Aaron Ackerson is an irreverent, genre-straddling, academically trained musician. His music encompases rock, dance, rap, and funk, among other genres. His first album, The Sexiest Man on Earth was released to critical praise and airplay on the Dr. Demento Show (the same nationally syndicated American radio program which launched the career of "Weird Al" Yankovic). The album features collaborations with such artists as Lemon Demon, The Scotland Yard Gospel Choir, and Cex.
