To make a long story short: A_liFe [Divided] is something you must have heard. There`s no doubt! And that`s what the press said! All big rock and metal magazines (Metal Hammer, Rock Hard, Break Out, Heavy oder was!!? and Metal Heart) ennobled the band to be one of the biggest German hopes in the scene. Another praise comes from prominent colleges such like Marian Gold of Alphaville or Fluxx of Oomph!: „For me A_liFe [Divided] is one of the few German bands who know how to combine melancholic melodies, electronic instruments and aggressive guitar rock. The emotional depth of their songs reminds me of one of my favorite bands Stabbing Westward.“ These guys know what they are talking about. History: A_LiFe [DIVIDED] evolved from a former project of Tony Berger and Erik Damköhler, called Cydonian.

In 2002, Cydonian’s singer left the band, and Jürgen Plangger joined the project. From this point on, the musical style of the project began to change, which lead to the birth of A_liFe [DIVIDED]. Their first concert as A_LiFe [DIVIDED] took place in the Garage in Munich, September 4th, 2003. Since then, they released two demos - „Virtualized“ in 2003, and „Far“ in 2005. In 2006, they were invited to support Oomph! on their tour through Germany together with Samsas Traum, and in 2007 they were Eisbrecher’s tour-support for their Germany-tour. They also did support-shows for Tanzwut, Lacrimas Profundere, and Battlelore, for example.
