APEXspectrum

APEXspectrum is an IDM / Ambient musician. APEXspectrum started as a side project away from the band Distance___. later known as Le Berz. Leicstershire grown designer, artist and musician APEXspectrum studies at the University of Lincoln on Interactive Design gaining many influences from art and music around him. The names for all the songs off LINERs EP came from names of galaxies and LINERs itself is the abbreviation for Low-Ionization Nuclear Emission-line Region, which is one of the characteristics of some galaxies.

The EP itself was aimed to have a more space sci-fi kind of feel to it and with it's original name being 'Lines' the movement from calling it Lines to LINERs didn't feel too out of reach whilst still keeping the cover art style the same (yet to be shown on Last.fm).
