A Place We Both Know

A Place We Both Know (AKA We Both Know) is a tech-grind band from the south side of Houston, Texas. By combining Sawtooth Grin-style speedy drums and atonal guitar riffs with math metal, death metal, hardcore and their own batch of random ideas, the band is making their own brand of tech grind. The band was conceived in December 2006 by founding members Tyler Irvine (vocals), Chase Harris (guitars) and Ryan Mitchell (drums). Less than a month later Trey Barnett (vocals) joined the band.

Since then the band has experienced many lineup changes, with the most current lineup consisting of Tyler, Trey, Chase and Adam Gyste on drums.
