A Certain Shade

A Certain Shade, otherwise known as ACS are a 6 piece Reggae/Dub/Rock band from the Midlands, UK. The guys have been playing together as friends and a band now for many a year. Originally things kicked off as a 3 piece consisting of Guitar/Vocals, Bass, Drums. Nowadays there is Guitar/Vocals, Bass, Keys, Trombone, Drums, Percussion. Their sound is constantly evolving, producing a wide spectrum of Reggae based music, with many influences from all over the world and from all genres.

The guys have played all over the UK from North to South, East to West, spreading their sound and have been lucky enough to support bands such as Slightly Stoopid, Julian Marley, Natty, Finley Quaye and Rusko who are all great influences. ACS's music has been featured on Board Stories in Hawaii along with other surf companies videos and press pack.
